This feature is a question-and-answer session with a new Blount County Chamber member. So here we go with our 23rd installment visiting with Josh Fincher, account executive of Thermocopy, which assess the current work flow of the office and find ways to improve upon it.

What is unique about Thermocopy. It is the largest and oldest provider of office equipment and business technology in east Tennessee. We are in the business of helping companies save money and improve work flow.

How did you get involved with Thermocopy? I wanted to pursue a company that has a proven history of good business and helps a lot in the community. Thermocopy has number one in customer service in the area.

Who is your mentor? My grandfather, though passing before my first real job, was a life compass for me in becoming an adult. He gave me his wisdom and helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses to improve upon them and become who I am today.

Who are Thermocopy’s customers? We can help any company that uses paper. The problem is most companies do not keep track of how much they are spending on things like ink and toner. I urge everyone to keep track for two or three months and see how much is actually being spent.

Name three things you wish you knew when you started. I am still fairly new to this business but three important things to know are: 1) Every company uses paper of some sort you can not rule anyone out. 2) Document management is a very important thing to a growing company and is vital to there long term success. 3) Lastly respect people’s loyalty but understand that good business always keeps their options open.
