This feature, a question-and-answer session with a new Blount County Chamber member, will appear every week. So here we go with our third installment with Elizabeth Ross, vice president at ECS Central, PLLC. They are located at 4708 Middle Creek Lane in Knoxville.

How did you get the background and skills necessary to run this type of business? I am the branch manager for the Knoxville Branch of ECS Central, PLLC (ECS). I have over 15 years of experience in the engineering and environmental consulting field, including technical applications in a variety of project types for environmental assessments, water quality monitoring, and indoor air quality assessments. I am also a former OSHA Health Compliance Officer. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Carolinas Chapter of the Environmental Information Association. I am responsible for client contact to identify project requirements; preparation of proposals; establishing project scopes of work; managing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for potential real estate transactions; managing and conducting indoor air quality assessments and various other industrial hygiene assessments.
