The Dialogue with Kurt Greene

This feature is a question-and-answer session with a new Blount County Chamber member. So here we go with our 39th installment visiting with Kurt Greene, chair for Vistage Worldwide, Inc. which is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of chief executives and business leaders worldwide.
Describe what you do with Vistage Worldwide. I bring together CEOs, executives, and business owners into private peer advisory groups. Each group is purpose-built to help members help each other to improve the performance and the outcomes of their businesses.
What led you to Vistage Worldwide? I have been studying leadership my whole life. I grew up as an Army brat, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, served our country as an Army officer, and worked in leadership, operations, and HR roles at companies like GE, Pfizer, and Procter & Gamble. A few years ago I decided that I wanted to build better workplace cultures for as many people as possible. I do this by working with leaders of small- and medium-sized businesses.
What type of people join Vistage Worldwide? Vistage customers are successful CEOs, executives, and business owners who looking for better ways to manage growth, navigate change, operate their businesses more efficiently and effectively.
