We believe in thinking "out of the box" and we are not afraid to challenge conventional wisdom in our approach to investing and preserving wealth. All of our energy, commitment, and efforts are focused on you, the client, and your satisfaction.

How did you get started in this business? I, personally, started in the business through Northwestern Mutual of Alabama. I began working in Birmingham under an advisor, and it eventually made more sense for me to move back to Maryville to help grow my dad's business. My father, Mitch Avery, began his career in advising with EdwardJones Investments, but eventually went independent in 2009.
How is your background? My father is the President of Avery Wealth Management, he is a fully licensed financial advisor, but began his career as a CPA. As the Marketing & Insurance Specialist, I obtain both TN & AL Life & Health Insurance licenses and will sit for both the Series 7 & 66 exams to become a fully licensed Financial Advisor in early 2016.
Who is your mentor or biggest supporter that has guided you through your career? Mitch Avery, my father has been my biggest influence throughout my career. I have an affection for working with people, and I love being out and about amongst the community. Working for his business has allowed me to incorporate that into both our business, and my individual career.
Describe your customers. We like to work with those who care about their families, and want to have a health financial future. Rust Kafauver, our Operations Manager, works with both my father and I to build comprehensive financial plans, and demonstrate to our clients how everything from health insurance to retirement brokerage accounts will effect their long term financial plan.
What do you enjoy about running your business? I enjoy not being trapped in an office from 8-5 each day, and getting to eat lunch with my father every day.
