The Dialogue with Brittany Conner

This feature is a question-and-answer session with a new Blount County Chamber member. So, here we go with our 108th installment visiting with Brittany Conner, Director of Business Development for Numbers House.
What a great buisness name. Describe what Numbers House does. Numbers House serves businesses by doing bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, and/or business entity creation. We aren't your old-school bookkeeping firm, though, we use a bookkeeping software that connects to your phone that stores your monthly reports so that you have your business's numbers at your fingertips.
How did you get started? Numbers House is a sister company to Burkhalter & Burkhalter and Burkhalter & Associate. It was born simply because we wanted to give our clients the option to have their businesses served online with reports and communication through an app on their phone and through email.
What is your background? We have a staff that has years of experience doing bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, and starting companies for our clients. Each staff member serves our customers like they would their own family and because we're always working with numbers, accuracy is a big deal to us.
Describe your customers. Our customers are the best! They are tech-savvy business owners who want to have their business's numbers at their fingertips via their phone and online. Our customers love the convenience of not having to worry about doing their payroll and know that we are here to help when they are ready to incorporate their business.
What do you enjoy about the business? I love helping people and I am a current business owner myself, so I know the specific needs of a business owner. I know how busy things get, and I know that when someone knows the numbers of their business they make better decisions.
